We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. This position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic corporate environment. We are looking for a hardworking individual who is organized and detail oriented.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all areas of accounting for one of our subsidiaries by performing the following duties:
Accurately and efficiently preparing financial statements
Maintaining GAAP supporting schedules in Microsoft Excel
Accurately expensing payables to the correct general ledger account and completing bank account reconciliations
Assisting with financial statement audits
Taking on additional projects as needed with a true team player attitude
Requirements
An undergraduate business degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA/MBA preferred
5 years of professional experience in an accounting department or in public accounting
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Extensive Microsoft Office experience and good overall computer skills
Experience with MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
