GW & Wade’s investment management approach is specially tailored to each of our clients’ particular needs. We work closely with you and base our investment strategy on your unique investment blueprint.
Step One: Identify Objectives and Asset Allocation
We work with you to develop short-term and long-term goals for your investments. We use a proprietary process to establish the optimal asset allocation for each client and for each portfolio. Whether you’re planning for education funding, retirement planning or other objectives, we help you understand the risks and rewards of different asset allocations.
Step Two: Implement
Once the appropriate asset allocation is in place, we deploy the best asset managers available. As independent advisors, we use a variety of investment vehicles: mutual funds, separately managed accounts, index funds and exchange-traded funds. Unlike most banks and brokerage firms, we don’t offer or sell any proprietary products; our sole focus is on your success, not on selling.
Step Three: Monitor Performance
We monitor your asset management plan, including portfolio rebalancing and tax planning. Our INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE regularly screens and monitors money managers in each asset class. We measure them compared to their peers and against suitable benchmarks, and we’re proactive in replacing those who fail to perform well.
