Upon learning of her husband’s serious illness, this client requested our help in estate planning. GW & Wade put together a comprehensive estate plan, oversaw the drafting of estate documents and served as an intermediary between her estate lawyers and life insurance professionals. After her husband’s death, we prepared her estate tax returns as well as her personal tax returns. GW & Wade continues to work with this client, having become a trusted resource and sounding board for all of her financial decisions.
A financially successful young couple, with three school-age children, had not reviewed their wills or trusts since the birth of their first child. We developed a blueprint that illustrated how their current estate plan would negatively impact their family. We then recommended the appropriate documents for protecting their assets from creditors and excessive estate taxes. Having accumulated significant assets, they were now comfortable with the knowledge that, even with unexpected events, their wealth had been secured for their children and extended family.
