Neil L. Goldberg
Principal
Neil Goldberg is the Director of Business Development for GW & Wade. He assists individual and corporate prospective clients in exploring a potential relationship with GW & Wade. Neil also manages the firm’s growth strategy and strategic partnerships with outside firms. Prior to joining GW & Wade in 2004, he was director of Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management office in Boston. With over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry, Neil has worked for several major private banks and investment advisory companies. He is a FINRA Registered Securities Representative (Series 6, 7, & 63).
Neil earned his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. Neil has served in a leadership role with several non-profit organizations, including the American Friends of Hebrew University and the annual Pan Mass Challenge for the Dana Farber
Cancer Institute.
Gene E. Sinclair
Vice President — Business Development
Based in Palo Alto, CA, Gene is GW & Wade's Vice President of Business Development for California and the West. Gene works with individuals, families and corporations to deliver GW & Wade's Wealth Management, Corporate and Premier Services Programs.
During his 35 years in the financial services industry and 37 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Gene worked with both regional and national brokerage firms. He also co-founded a successful independent investment advisory firm and a successful, venture backed start-up company that revolutionized money management platforms for independent broker-dealers, banks and investment advisory companies.
Gene is a Registered Options Principal, a General Securities Agent, a General Securities Sales Supervisor, a General Securities Principal, a Uniform Securities Agent, a Uniform Investment Advisor Representative and a Uniform State Combined Investment Advisor Representative (Series 4, 7, 8, 24, 63 & 66).
A long-time resident of Los Altos, Gene received a B.S. in Business from San Jose State University, where he recently guest lectured with the Masters in Biotechnology program. Gene is on the Board of Hope Services, where he serves on the Executive and Finance Committees. Gene is also very active in service and support for Saint Francis High School in Mountain View and has been a board member, chief umpire and head coach for youth baseball programs in Sunnyvale, Mountain View and Los Altos.
James Da Silva
Vice President — Business Development
James Da Silva is GW & Wade’s Vice President of Business Development working in our Wellesley office. He is responsible for introducing and presenting GW & Wade’s investment management platform and planning services to individuals, families and select institutions.
Prior to GW &Wade he was a vice president at Brookwood Financial Partners, a private equity real estate firm catering to high net worth individuals, families and boutique advisory firms. There he was responsible for establishing and maintaining client relations, which included securing equity participation for investment offerings as well as communication regarding operations and performance of assets.
Prior to Brookwood James worked with original equipment and contract manufacturers in the telecommunications industry and has over 15 years experience servicing both corporate and individual clients. Having lived and worked in Sweden he is also conversationally fluent in Swedish.
He is a graduate of Salem State College and is a FINRA Registered Securities Representative (Series 7 & 63).
Married with one daughter, he enjoys skiing with his family and still finds time to sail competitively, having participated in a number of Newport to Bermuda races.
Laurie Gerber
Business Development Associate
Laurie is GW & Wade’s Business Development Associate. Based in our Wellesley office, Laurie is responsible for supporting all sales and marketing activities nationwide. Laurie’s responsibilities include new client development, marketing communications and partnerships, client loyalty and retention, and spearheads all company community involvement.
Prior to GW & Wade, Laurie has held several positions in the financial services industry at Keystone Investments and State Street Research & Management. She has also worked in sales and marketing performing new product development and implementation, and identifying and managing key business alliances at companies such as IBM and several software technology companies.
Laurie holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Boston College and a BA from Boston University. Laurie has also recently graduated from the Business on Board program through the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston and is exploring serving on the Board of Directors at several non-profit organizations.
